Hello, and welcome to my web site. I am a M.Sc. candidate at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). The emphasis of my graduate research is on algorithms and combinatorial optimization, but I also have interest in different areas.
I hold a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). The emphasis of my undergraduate courses was on artificial intelligence and digital entertainment.
Before starting at PUC-Rio, I worked for two years and a half at the mobile game industry. At Meantime, I have contributed to the development of about eight mobile games shipped to carriers in Brazil and Europe.
Recently I have worked as Research Assistant at TecGraf, in a TerraLib extension project. TerraLib is an open-source C++ library for geographic information systems.
More details about my past experience can be found on my resume.
